Operational Strategy

The success of Toyota become one of the world-class company is not operational despite the benefits of the company. PT. Toyota is always to create the innovation process with a fast and flexible, which also provide what customers want on time with the highest quality and an affordable cost. Toyota on operational excellence is made as a strategic weapon. Operational excellence is also partly based on quality improvement methods such as just in time and jidoka applied and Toyota introduced the world to manufacture.

He explained there are two main pillars which form the "Toyota Way" and the five pillars to create value that can be a company culture (corporate culture). The first pillar is the ongoing development (continuous improvement) means having the desire to continue to improve the business through the creation of ideas and the best effort to produce good quality products and services. Toyota approach represented through continuous improvement in the value of the three challenge (the challenge) is to make a decision based on the management philosophy of doing business in the long term; kaizen, learning organization on a continual basis with the view of the future; and genchi genbutsu, see the reality in front of the eye so that better understand the situation correctly. Second pillar is "respect for people" (respect for other people) who have stressed that respect for each other are important in business because of the success of a business is created from individual and business is good teamwork. Respect for the two people that respect and value teamwork. In the exposure of the Toyota Way, he was the "4P" model Toyota Way is the foundation of Toyota Production System (TPS), which practiced in Toyota factories around the world, namely Philosopy, Process, People / Partners, and Problem Solving.


With the Toyota Way means that the company will be able to arrange / organize the work to be how to create efficient corporate excellence. This was PT. Toyota has been able to passing GM as the biggest car producer in the world. The concept of work that is applied PT. Toyota to improve business processes are able to eliminate waste of time and resources, build a quality system in place to work, find a cheap alternative but reliable, improved business processes and building a culture of learning for continuous improvement. Therefore, Toyota Way observe three (3) must diminimalisasi aspects of the company, especially in the service level, the Muda (waste), Mura (not regular) and Muri (excessive load / overload). Thus, the Toyota Way can be used as a reference and learning, inspiration and vision for a company that want to succeed in the long term.

    I've read a lot of blog but I never heard a topic like this one, now I can say that I haven't wasted my time in reading that , I'd like that if you look into my thinking about Kaizen Training as well and let me know that how's you find that !
